People

The Spacecraft Technology Center staff has space-experienced engineers in nearly all of the functional disciplines associated with our mission. We also have ready access to an impressive pool of world-class academic talent at Texas A&M University. The STC engineering analysis and design staff is particularly strong in structural analysis and testing, dynamics and control, robotics, thermal analysis and testing, materials and radiation effects, and orbital analysis. We support projects where additional consultative analysis is requested. STC engineering costs are economical thanks to support from the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) for infrastructure and facility expenses, NASA Research Partnership Center (RPC) funding available for appropriate partnership projects, and low-cost test facilities.
